What is Beanstack?

Beanstack is a website and mobile application used to track reading time and participation in a wide variety of fun activities developed just for you and your family by Highland Community Library. 

How does it work?

Beanstack can be used on the web or through an easy-to-use mobile app. Our Beanstack challenges are based on milestone badging for reading and/or activity based goals. As you log reading minutes and complete activities, you will earn points toward completing the program. For every 5 points you earn, you receive a new badge to celebrate your achievements. Once you hit 75 points, you are automatically entered to win our grand prize in each age group: a new Kindle Fire!

Starting June 15, you can visit Our Beanstack Page and register yourself and your whole family. Once you’re signed up, you’ll have the chance to register for challenges specific to you… and voila! You’re ready to start logging and completing activities. You have until August 22 to complete the program.

What if I want to participate but I don’t want to use Beanstack?

No problem! Starting June 8, you can contact the library and schedule a time to pick up a Summer Learning Activity Pack. In addition to a reading log, stickers, and paper copy of the full program, Activity Packs come with special goodies that supplement the activities, so even if you’re using Beanstack to participate, you are encouraged to pick up an activity pack for maximum fun.
