Celebrate Black History

Celebrate Black History on Saturday, February 2, starting at 11:00 a.m. Listen to the story of The Bus That Rosa Parks Rode, written and read by local author Phyllis Baker. There will be songs, discussion, and sales/signing of the book in the Children’s Department Storytime Theater. For every book sold, two dollars will be donated to the library. At 11:30 a.m. enjoy a performance by the Kulani Dancers, a local West African dance group. Lastly, at 1:00 p.m. join Phyllis and Thomas Baker, author and illustrator of The Bus That Rosa Parks Rode, for a teen creative writing workshop. (January 23, 2019)

Inclined to Read January Special

January Special at the Inclined to Read Bookstore: Buy one hardback novel by Mary Higgins Clark or Janet Evanovich and get two more by the same author FREE. That's three books for $1.  Offer good all month long! If you don't see the title you want, ask at the bookstore desk, we may have a copy in the back room. (January 10, 2019)

Winter Storytime Sign-ups

Winter Storytime Sign-Ups begin January 22nd in person, online @cclsys.org or by calling (814) 536-5131 ext. 205. Caregiver/child participation classes offered for children ages 0-5 years. Storytime donation of $1.00 per child. (January 10, 2019)

Teen Art Cart Wednesday

Wednesday, January 9, from 4 to 5 pm. Hang out, mess around, geek out, and make art with us in the Teen Xscape lounge.  We'll wheel the Art Cart down and you have your choice of supplies to draw, paint, knit, craft, and so much more.  Free and snacks provided, open to grades 6-12. - (December 11, 2018)

It's a Winter Wonderland!

Inclined to Read Bookstore will transform into a Winter Wonderland on Wednesday, November 21! Get into the holiday spirit with thousands of Christmas books to choose from. Gifts and collectibles to finish your shopping list. All proceeds go to the Cambria County Library. This is shopping you can feel good about! (Store will be closed Tuesday 11/20 for the elves to work their magic) - (November 1, 2018)
