Nancy completed her BSBA at Columbia Southern University and her library education at Graduate School, USDA, and has 20 years of library experience. She is married and has 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys church and family activities and loves to read. She calls Carrolltown home and loves all the library patrons, especially the children.
Allece is a 2010 graduate of Saint Francis University with a double major in accounting and finance. She married her high school sweetheart in 2010 as well. She works part time because she loves to be at home and spend time with her four young children. She loves spending time with family, being outdoors, staying active, and being involved in her community, which is a huge reason why she loves her job at the library.
Danyelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Danyelle is married and a mother of two young children. She is active in school and library programs. She enjoys craft hobbies, baking, family gatherings, and her cat named Olive.

Jessica Campbell pursued her arts education at Seton Hill University, where she graduated with a B.F.A in 3-D media. Jess is the Education Coordinator for the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art and is responsible for overseeing the Arts-in-Education, Artist-in-Residence and Museum Healthcare Partnership programs. Jess is also the Loretto and Johnstown Site Coordinator where she is responsible for exhibitions and programming. Jess is currently working on her Master’s in Education at Saint Francis University where she is also an adjunct faculty member. Jess and her husband, Carl reside in Carrolltown with their son, Parker.
Board Vice President
Kelly Dumm is a Carrolltown native and currently lives in East Carroll Township with her husband, dog and cat. She is a graduate of Cambria Heights and Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. She works full time and teaches fitness and nutrition classes as a part time passion. She has fond memories of visiting the Carrolltown Library when she was young and currently loves reading anything related to personal growth and development.
Ann M. Serafin
Currently retired. Graduate of Duff’s Business School in Pittsburgh, PA.
Former Court Reporter. Last worked at the Cambria County Courthouse in Ebensburg, PA. Married with two children and four grandchildren. She loves traveling and reading.
Her favorite thing about the library is meeting new people and reading new books!
Marian, born the 10th child of 14, was raised in Patton, PA. After spending 5 years in Winchester, VA establishing her own Family returned to Pennsylvania “where the Seasons come alive” wanting her own children to experience these joys. While working full time outside her home, she raised three children and became a grandmother of two while continuing as Office Manager of her husband’s business, Ross & Son Window Treatments. Most recently Marian became Owner & Operator of her own business, Follow Your Art, located in Ebensburg, PA. Her work on the Board for the Carrolltown Library since May of 2016 has been a wonderful rewarding experience to share her abilities and ‘pay it forward’ for generations to come.
Jackie Adams has been a lifetime member of the Carrolltown Public Library and proudly serves as a current board member. She has “loved to read ever since she was a little girl” and continues to be an avid reader. Jackie is a dedicated volunteer and shares the board’s enthusiasm for serving local communities.
Benno Bearer is a third generation business owner along with his brother and business partner, Don. Bearer Appliances was started by his grandfather IJ Bearer in 1924. Past President of the Carrolltown Library Board, Benno has been on the board for approximately 25 years. He and his wife, Karen reside in Carrolltown and have three children.

Joe Koehle is a 2012 graduate of Saint Francis University with a bachelors degree in accounting. Joe enjoys spending time with his family. He has been a member of the Carrolltown community for over seven years, and he enjoys volunteering for the library.
