Girls Who Code Club

March 9 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, repeating until June 1, 2021

Our virtual club starts on January 26!

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Free after-school clubs are offered for girls in 6th-12th grade to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment. Cambria County Library is proud to be a host site for this program.

Our Girls Who Code Club will host virtual speakers and engage with the tech community. Girls Who Code also facilitates exclusive connections where possible, providing unique opportunities to Club participants. Girls have access to the nationwide supportive and engaged network of teachers, mentors, professionals, and fellow students.

We’ll meet every other week online for an hour for ten sessions. A link will be provided to registered participants.
